High temperature spiral wound gasket for use in oxidizing atmospheres at temperatures higher than 950°F (510°C). Layers of 100% mica protect the grafoil sealing element from the effects of the oxidizing atmosphere at elevated temperatures. Spiral wound gaskets are designed for heat exchangers. Spiral wound gasket are used when pass bars are required. The outer portion is of standard spiral wound construction and the rib portion is normally of single or double jacketed style.
Corrugations of a standard double-jacketed gasket provide improved resilience in applications where thermocycling may be a problem.

Manufactured from solid metal, Cammprofile gaskets exhibit all the desirable qualities of a solid metal gasket with the added advantages of a reduced area of contact thereby reducing the bolt stress required to make a seal. Grafoil tape is added to the sealing surface for improved sealability. Because of their ability to seal on less than perfect flange faces, Cammprofile gaskets are often chosen as a replacement to traditional double-jacketed heat exchanger gaskets.
Pressure energized ring joint gaskets with unique self sealing action. Internal pressure during service increases loading on the gasket thereby improving the gasket's sealing performance.
CANFLEX® High Temp gasket material can be used in applications above 950°F (510°C) where flexible graphite fails due to the effects of the oxidizing atmosphere at these elevated temperatures. Gaskets can be manufactured from standard sheet material, as filler material for spiral wound gaskets or used as facing on Cammprofile gaskets.
Plateflow models include a one-piece molded gasket. This standard gasket is designed with two rings to confine each fluid to the appropriate port region of the plate, a field region of the gasket to confine the fluid to the heat transfer area of the plate and a vented region in between. This design creates a double gasket with a leak path to atmosphere through the vented region to prevent any cross contamination of the fluids due to a gasket failure. A leak due to a gasket failure is detected as a leak to atmosphere prior to any chance for cross contamination. We offer various options of glueless gaskets as well as glued gaskets.
